THE MASTER EYE MAKEUP COLOR LIST
I made this because I’m tired and refuse to move away from the computer and I thought it might be helpful in keeping future eye shadow disasters from happening (been there done that (why did my mom let 11 year old me do my makeup??)). If it’s not, well, I had something to keep me occupied for an hour, so that was nice.
The colors have been split according to the accent color being either gold or silver (almost every dress ever made has an accent of gold of silver; rarely do they have both or none at all). In each of those groups you have the main colors of dresses bulleted. There are a couple exceptions, which are explained at the end. Some of the links are the same because I thought the colors would work well with multiple looks.
I would recommend this particular look to anybody regardless of dress color because I think that neutral works for everyone:
· Black or White- if you’re dead set on wearing silver eye shadow, go for this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hvJTIq9zuU, otherwise, go for http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4zul3ZSTPQ whether you’re wearing black and silver or white and silver
· Green- Green eyeshadow rarely every turns out looking nice, and it especially doesn’t when paired with silver. So here’s a neutral tones makeup that I think would still look nice. You could add a bit of green in the crease if you really wanted to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbGcWxyGDFE
Rainbow: almost always will fall under silver. Because there are so many colors, choose one you like and use that for the color, or use the neutral palette
Black and White: almost always will fall under silver. But I have seen some with gold. If you want to wear silver, use http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hvJTIq9zuU, use if you want gold, use http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4zul3ZSTPQ
